The bodies are mainly from the 1.5 litre era 1961-65.
I am mainly interested in F1 before the advent of advertising and sponsorship, as I think the money coming into F1 did turn it in to a greater spectacle but it also changed it as a sport, and the meaning of sportsmanship with the competitors.
When wings were introduced I feel they took away more than they contributed and only acted as mobile advertising space, so by the end of 1968, the real magic of Grand Prix racing was over.
That is not to say I did not enjoy the races I went to see over the years between 1972-2005, and the excitement of going to see them and being there. I just wish I could have seen then at a time that there was more camaraderie between the drivers and a more relaxed attitude at the races.
